How is the NeoSkinCO2 platform different from other fractional lasers?
The US Synrad RF metal tube used in the laser allows for up to 40 watts of power per tissue, which significantly reduces the thermal damage zone in adjacent tissues by shortening the pulse duration. This feature is particularly important for fractional gynaecological and aesthetic medicine treatments because it gives high efficiency of the treatments and reduces the recovery time to the necessary minimum. Until now, similar parameters were characterized by the legendary Fraxel Repair laser, which has not been produced for several years. What is the treatment with the NeoSkinCO2 laser?
Unlike traditional laser dermabrasion, as a result of which the entire surface layer of the skin is immediately removed, treatments performed with NeoSkinCO2 laser are applied to the skin selectively, creating a pattern of evenly distributed micro-thermal zones. The laser light is directed into these zones, which deeply and precisely penetrates both subcutaneous tissue and dermis cells. Since the skin around is not affected, healing occurs extremely quickly and the treatment does not cause visible wounds. Therefore, the NeoSkinCO2 laser is a breakthrough in aesthetic medicine treatments.

During one treatment with the NeoSkinCO2 laser, approximately 20-25% of the treated skin surface is exposed. Clinical trials suggest that the best results are obtained by carrying out 3-5 treatments, performed at intervals of 2-6 weeks. Depending on the size and location of the lesion, the doctor, in consultation with the patient, may decide to increase the intervals between treatments. The results are immediate and progressive. The laser light also stimulates the deeper layers of the skin to produce new collagen, the production of which decreases over the years. This ensures that the optimal effect is usually visible after 2-3 months.

Are laser treatments painful?
30 minutes before the treatment a special anaesthetic based on lignocaine - Emla - is applied on the skin. During the procedure, you usually feel a prick, which is quite well tolerated by patients. In the case of more intensive procedures, oral analgesics can be used.
How long does it take to get back to normal life?
Most patients can take up normal activity immediately after surgery. No special treatment is required, patients can perform routine skincare procedures directly after the treatment. Slight redness and swelling may occur in the treated areas, as well as moderate burning or itching, usually lasting several hours. The redness may persist for several days and the skin may take on a tanned shade. After about a week and the microscopic size of the treated areas heals, the skin tone will return to normal. In very rare cases, when the treatment was extensive, scabs or blisters may appear. It is recommended to use greasing creams and to use SPF50 in case of exposure to the sun directly in the post-treatment period - i.e. up to two weeks after the treatment.
When will the effects be visible?
Most patients will notice the difference just a few days after the treatment. However, the real advantage of the treatment is the modelling of collagen fibres in deep layers of skin. As a result, the patient will experience a gradual improvement and smoothening and improvement of skin tension over a year after a series of treatments.
Are the effects of NeoSkinCO2 laser treatments permanent?
The changes in the epidermis and collagen fibres caused by NeoSkin laser therapy are permanent and progressive, which allows you to enjoy young, brightened skin for a long time. However, the sun, time-lapse and gravity make this treatment best repeated 1-3 times a year.
